Pentimento
Pentimento is something painted out of a picture, which later becomes visible again. Life narratives which have the qualities of pentimento -something new is always coming into sight-overlaying what was previously certain with multiple images and traces of what has been, what could have been, and what now is- layers placed over one another, each writing over and adding to what went before. Multiple interpretations can be made of the narrative as we reveal each layer.
